Saltmarsh Poodles has been around for five years, we are a small home-based kennel located centrally in Nova Scotia. Our main objective is to preserve the poodle breed and in doing so produce healthy poodle puppies that embody North American breed standards. Saltmarsh poodles works towards this objective by carefully selecting poodle pedigrees that have favorable characteristics of the breed. This selection process also considers familial health testing available. Saltmarsh poodles works towards breed preservation by also performing extensive health testing on our poodles, which is available to view on each individual poodle on "Our Poodles" page. We as breeders believe in transparency, honesty, and open communication. Saltmarsh puppies are our extended family, for life, so we always have an open door and stay in touch with our puppy homes. We will also be there in whatever capacity we can to assist if ever needed. Currently we are biding time to move to a bigger space due primarily to the current economy in this province.
Saltmarsh Poodles is the creation of Bradley Eaglestone. Bradley possesses decades of animal experience, including previous dog and horse breeding, and is currently a professional dog handler, trainer and owner and groomer of The Big Fur Grooming Shop located in Windsor, NS. Bradley has worked as a Veterinary Assistant/Lay Technician and recently completed his LPN. After sometime working as a nurse he decided to follow his passion and work with animals full time. He offers a large array of health information and specific skills related to dogs and other animals.
